He was born on an island on the west coast of Africa, was raised in Portugal, lived in London and started his own business in the United States in 1996. His work includes large family estates, New York apartments, commercial spaces and restaurants. Techniques & Benefits Antonio Barros uses lime, cement, and artisan plasters that are made with crushed marble, marble dust, slaked lime, and lime putty to create the look and textures of stone, while giving you a finish that is washable, extremely breathable, eco-green, and non-toxic.
